Open House & Scandi Snacks

This weekend me and Leon impulsively decided to throw our housewarming. We did it "open house" style and had friends coming all day and evening for Scandinavian snacks & drinks. Our little place was packed with beautiful people and good vibes.

There is something special about being so far away from your home and then suddenly realize that Shanghai and the people you are surrounded by is like home. Amazing. It must be as they say:

home is where the heart is

It all started pretty civilized with healthy and beautiful snacks. The strawberries are in season in Shanghai now and they are yuuuuummie!

Scandi punch: Lingon berries with fresh orange and Elderflower with fresh kiwi fruit

Thanks to Ikea's Swedish foodstore it was possible for us to do a little magic in the kitchen and serve delicious Scandi Snacks

Salmon on knækkebrød so "Scandi" and sooo delicious!

It's Easter time in Shanghai. At least if you visit Ikea

The kiwis (and Sam)

More Kiwis! And people from UK, Germany, Italy, Aussie, Scandinavia and China. Such an international crowd

My Chinese friend Josie brought us this beautiful and very Chinese horse. Because it is the year of the horse it will bring us luck in our new apartment. I just love China!
