I think everybody loooooves pizza. But if you like me don't like the fact that only a very small part of a traditional pizza actually benefits your body and your well-being or if you are trying to avoid either processed carbs or gluten you are a gonna looooove this pizza recipe! It is a Paleo style pizza which can be as healthy as the toppings you decide to put on. Ours was vegetarian, spicy & cheesy but yours can be exactly as you want it to be. The secret is the base and it is real easy to make...
1 big cauliflower
1 cup of natural yoghurt (similar sour milk product will do - it might even be possible to omit)
1 cup of cheese
1/2 a cup of herbs e.g. parsely, basil or a mix
salt & peper
+ Your choice of toppings
Boil the cauliflower for 15-20 minutes. Blend it with the other base ingredients and approximately 1/2 a cup of the water from the pot. Pour the base into a large oven tray and bake it for approximately 35 minutes or until golden. Add tomato sauce, your toppings and don't forget that yummy grated cheese. Bake for another 15 minutes or until it looks ready to you.
